About Mailing Lists

Mailing lists help you send newsletters to a group of subscribers. Each mailing list is a group of people who subscribe to your newsletters.

Creating a Mailing List

When you create a mailing list, give it a name and write a short description explaining its purpose. If you wish, you can include a message that is automatically sent to a subscriber when you add or remove that subscriber from the mailing list.

To create a mailing list:

  1. On the start screen, click New Mailing List.
  2. You will go to a new screen. Here, enter a Name and Description for the mailing list.
  3. If you wish to create a Welcome message or a Goodbye message, select the appropriate option and enter the message you wish to send.
  4. Click Create Mailing List.

The new mailing list is created. You can now add subscribers to the mailing list.

Finding a Mailing List

Here you can see all your mailing lists. Edit, delete or view subscribers for each mailing list. To find a mailing list:

  1. On the start screen, click Find Mailing List.
  2. You will go to a new screen showing a list of current mailing lists. Click Next to see the next page of the list, or click the numbers to jump to specific pages.

Creating a Subscriber

A subscriber is a member of a mailing list. When you send a newsletter to a mailing list, all subscribers of that mailing list receive the newsletter. To create a subscriber:

  1. On the start screen, click New Subscriber.
  2. On the new screen, select which mailing list the subscriber should be a member of.
  3. Enter a First Name, Last Name and Email Address for the subscriber.
  4. Click Create Subscriber.

The new subscriber is created.

Finding a Subscriber

Here you can see all current subscribers. You can sort the list by clicking the letters or use Find in... to find specific subscribers. To delete a subscriber, click the trashcan icon. To find a subscriber:

  1. On the start screen, click Find Subscriber.
  2. You will go to a new screen showing a list of current subscribers. Click Next to see the next page of the list, or click the numbers to jump to specific pages.

Importing and Exporting Subscribers

Save time by importing existing lists of subscribers. Export subscribers to use them in other programs. For import, subscribers should have the following format...

Export creates a file for you to download. To import subscribers:

  1. On the start screen, click Import/Export Subscribers.
  2. On the new screen, select which mailing list the subscribers should be imported to.
  3. Select Import by clicking the radio button.
  4. Browse to find the file to be imported or type the location and name directly.
  5. Select First Name and Last Name if required. Email Address is always imported.
  6. Click the Import/Export button. The subscribers will be added to the the mailing list you selected in step 2.

To import/export subscribers:

  1. On the start screen, click Import/Export Subscribers.
  2. On the new screen, select which mailing list the subscribers should be exported from.
  3. Select Export by clicking the radio button.
  4. Select First Name and Last Name if required. Email Address is always exported.
  5. Click the Import/Export button. You will go to a new screen.
  6. Click Download to download the exported file.

Sending a Newsletter

Send an email newsletter to inform subscribers about new releases or just keep in touch. The email will be personalized automatically. To send a newsletter:

  1. On the start screen, click Send Newsletter.
  2. You will go to a new screen. Here, select which mailing list the email newsletter should be sent to.
  3. Change the Format and Time Delay if required.
  4. Click the Send Message button.
  5. A confirmation screen opens. Click the Send button to send the newsletter.
