Yes, more than likely. We check our affiliate sites just to make sure they are suitable but mostly they're fine. We just don't want affiliates with sites that feature racist content or content that anyone over 21 would find really offensive, but your site doesn't have any of that stuff, does it?
What does it cost to join?
Nothing. It's really free, no catches, no tricks. You help us, we help you.
My website uses the 1-2-3 music store. Can my web site still be an affiliate?
Unless your website is called "dumbracist.com" or something, no problem.
I don't have a web site yet. Can I apply to be an affiliate anyway?
No, sorry. It wouldn't make much sense because the whole process doesn't work unless you have a website. Also, we like to review our affiliate sites before saying "yes". Otherwise, you could become an affiliate, then start "dumbracist.com" and we would be in a pickle then, wouldn't we?
When you successfully register to become an affiliate, we provide you with a personalized affiliate link for your site. Place it wherever you want (why not on the homepage?) and that's it.
What do I have to do after that?
Just take care of your website as usual. Update the content regularly, maybe move the link around, add a graphic from our affiliate resource center - whatever. Being an affiliate is not a lot of work.
What does easyBe do while this is going on?
We take care of designing new graphics for buttons, banners and pop-up ads. We write news articles and copy so you can use an article about the 1-2-3 music store as a holder for your link. We produce a newsletter and we take care of all transactions on your affiliate account. Somehow, we find time to develop our software, too.
Will you help me with my site?
We provide top quality text and graphics and the affiliate newsletter often contains useful tips for your site.
Can I use the names "easyBe" and "1-2-3 Music Store" and logos on my site?
Please do. All we ask is that you don't alter the graphics at all.
You will be paid via paypal at the beginning of each calendar month. The only exception to this is when you haven't made a lot of money, we will hold back and pay you at the end of the next month. This sounds a bit odd, but it just isn't worth transferring a sum where the margins are so small. This behavior is regulated by a "minimum amount". The standard minimum amount is $50 but you can raise this amount if required.
What's PayPal?
PayPal is the world leader in internet transaction services. Worldwide, there are over 50 million PayPal users. We chose to work with PayPal simply because they are the best in their field. They have received close to 20 awards for technical excellence from the Internet industry and the business community at large - most recently the 2003 Webby Award for Best Finance Site and the 2003 Webby People's Voice Award for Best Finance Site.
How much do I get?
As mentioned above, you get 20% of every software licence sale of the 1-2-3 music store to all customers that come from your website and 5% of all sales generated by 2nd tier affiliates!
All links from your site to easybe.com contain your site's unique ID so that every time a user comes to us via your site, we know to credit you when a purchase is made.
How will I be paid?
The money will be transferred to your PayPal account, so if you don't have a PayPal account, you should start one before becoming an affiliate.
Can I see how my account is doing?
Yes - as an affiliate, you can login to a special area of easybe.com. Here you can see how many customers have followed your links and you can check your current revenue.
